A Little Information About Hot Wheels Cases

So you hear there's a new Mustang coming out in the so and so case and want to try to find it. Well let me show you some information on how to tell which case is which!

The picture above is exactly what a case of Hot Wheels looks like. As you can see, it has 2 different segments of numbers and letters stamped on the side. In the first segment, there is an M at the end. That is the case letter. Cases are released A-Q, with no I or O cases. With that said, the above pictured case is an M case.

So now that you know how to tell which case is which letter, let me show you some more information!

The above picture is the card back of the 2014 '15 Mustang GT. Looks pretty simple and not too hard to understand eh? Well on the J hook, where the card is hung on the peg in the store, there is a sequence of letters and numbers, which reads BDD18-09B0Q. The very last letter in that sequence, which is the letter Q, is the case letter that Mustang came out of. That Mustang came from the 2014 Q case!

This information does not mean anything to international cases, as they are numbered different on the cases and card backs.

I hope I have helped you in your hunt for Mustangs. This information is for sure helpful for any new Mustang collector, or collector in general! I will be adding this information to an actual page to add to the informational pages soon!
